AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Leader to enhance our capabilities in structural design and project management.

The Structural Engineering team operates on a variety of projects globally, with a focus on sectors such as healthcare, data centers, commercial buildings, hospitality, education, and civic projects for both public and private clients.

This role is pivotal in shaping future construction endeavors both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commercial, managerial, and technical dimensions of projects or segments for which you are accountable.
  • Identify opportunities and develop fee proposals for client submissions, including resource allocation and timelines.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design of building infrastructure systems.

Qualifications:

Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of engineering?

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Honours)
  • Chartered Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or Engineers Ireland (EI)

Essential Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of standard engineering practices, methodologies, and structural principles.
  • Experience in executing structural engineering projects, conducting analyses and calculations as necessary.
  • Supervising work to ensure adherence to technical standards and effective management of timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to deliver design solutions and assessment calculations, lead teams, and manage projects successfully.
  • A proven track record in handling various structural projects, potentially as a project leader, with direct client engagement experience.
  • Familiarity with the local market dynamics would be advantageous.
