Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Belfast

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to lead a team of engineers in a boutique engineering consultancy with a headcount of around 30 staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of smaller projects and contributing to larger, high-profile projects.

  1. Lead and manage a selection of projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Contribute to large-scale projects, including a significant £350m educational project in Northern Ireland, utilizing expertise in structural engineering to drive project success.
  3. Work on diverse projects such as social housing, shopping centres, the Kings Hall multipurpose project (healthcare, residential, etc.), and two school projects (£2-8m), applying structural engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions.
  4. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development, helping them to grow and succeed in their careers.
  5. Work with minimal supervision to ensure project delivery meets high standards, demonstrating expertise and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
  6. Extensive experience in managing and delivering structural engineering projects, with a proven track record of success.
