The Opportunity:
We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a skilled Commercial Client Advisor to become a vital part of our Commercial Enterprise Unit. This role involves delivering exceptional service and expert guidance to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for managing policy events while adhering to compliant processes, ensuring that all clients receive fair and professional treatment. Your focus will be on retaining existing clients and generating new business through the development of strong relationships and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify suitable solutions, structure, pricing, and placement strategies that align with client requirements while driving profitable business across various sectors.
- Deliver high-quality service to clients, addressing all aspects of their insurance arrangements, providing advice, reviewing, arranging, and securing the necessary coverage at competitive rates.
- Oversee the review and necessary actions related to policy and client information.
- Maintain vigilance in daily operations to recognize and mitigate potential issues, ensuring prompt remedial actions are taken.
- Foster effective relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, partners, insurers, and external specialists to maximize business opportunities.
- Continuously enhance relationships with PIB's panel of insurers and maintain a strong presence within the insurance market.
- Collaborate proactively with colleagues across the organization to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Place commercial lines business within approved markets to best meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of the client, insurance market, and industry sector.
- Keep clients informed about updates regarding political, regulatory, and market changes that may affect their business.
- Assess the adequacy of coverage and the suitability of terms offered to clients.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all inquiries are resolved efficiently.
Required Experience:
Essential qualifications include:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C, including English and Maths.
- Prior experience in an Account Handling role within the insurance sector is essential.
- Demonstrated client service and administrative experience, with a strong adherence to processes and systems, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal colleagues.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and operational experience with Acturis.
- Operational knowledge of Acturis, ensuring accurate updates to data quality standards.
