Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our General Surgery Department at Leighton Hospital in Crewe. This is a permanent appointment that offers the opportunity to gain further clinical experience and be involved in general surgery, endoscopy, and colorectal surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rota for General Surgery, including rotational commitments to on-call during the day, weekends, and nights.
  • Provide day and night time "out of hours" emergency cover to the surgical emergency admissions ward as part of a rota.
  • Contribute to the development of a job plan that sets out duties, responsibilities, and objectives for the coming year.
