We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Assistant to join our team at the National Trust. As a Collections Assistant, you will play a vital role in the care and preservation of our heritage collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day cleaning and care of the collections, ensuring that all items are properly stored and maintained.
- Monitor environmental conditions in rooms and report any signs of wear and tear.
- Keep accurate records of collection movements and condition.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, sharing information about the collections and the work of the Collections team.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure the smooth operation of the collections.
