Swift Placements is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our client's team in Keighley. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate and supervise the repair and maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within the facility.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct PLC fault findings and interrogation to identify and resolve issues.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in leading, training, and developing the maintenance team.
  • Delegate tasks to maintenance technicians and provide guidance on safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and offer feedback to team members.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably within the food production or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a maintenance team is highly desirable.
  • Electrical qualification or willingness to undertake training to gain qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, machinery repair, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
