The role of the Sales Manager for Fenestration and Roofing Solutions encompasses:
A technical sales position focused on a premium selection of manufactured products including aluminium and uPVC windows and doors, roof lanterns, skylights, and curtain walling systems.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with:
- Fenestration contractors
- Roofing contractors
- Architects
- Housebuilders
- Installers
You will be representing both the company’s proprietary brands and renowned names such as Schuco, Aluk, Pirnar, and Liniar.
Typical order values will range from £20,000 to £500,000.
- Overseeing and mentoring a team of five sales professionals
- Developing and executing innovative sales strategies to drive business expansion
- Preparing quotations for complex projects, including curtain walling
- Managing significant key accounts to foster repeat business
The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven technical sales experience within the construction sector, preferably in fenestration or roofing
- Consideration will be given to candidates with a sales management background in the fenestration or roofing industry, even if less technically inclined
- Experience in coaching and developing a sales team, including setting performance metrics
- Proficiency in CAD, with the ability to create and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with LogiKal and/or window design software is highly advantageous
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
