DSO Transition Manager

Job Summary
Utility People is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead their Distribution System Operations (DSO) transition efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance monitoring, reporting, and ensuring all regulatory and license obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- DSO Transition Programme Leadership: Accountable for the delivery of all DSO-related initiatives, including business process changes, commercial framework development, and providing expert project management support.
- Process Mapping and Improvement: Work with subject matter experts to identify and map existing processes, ensuring seamless integration with the DSO vision and strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Extensive networking across the business and industry level to foster strong relationships and drive collaboration.
- DSO Vision and Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of the DSO vision, strategy, and tactics, particularly leading the engagement, commercial, and contractual elements.
- Performance Management: Manage and monitor performance in line with the DSO transition programme and business plan deliverables.
- DSO Incentive Performance: Lead the delivery of the DSO incentive performance, particularly stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Project/Programme Management, team leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels to drive business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
