Process Engineer

Zenith People is working with a leading Manufacturer in the North-East to find an experienced Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including cycle time, rates per hour, yield, and scrap, and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide technical support to resolve process-related issues.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Assist in New Product Introduction and provide manufacturing and technical expertise.
- Produce CNC programs for various machine tools.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, manufacturing team members, and build relationships with tooling suppliers.
- Participate in and implement improvement programs and initiatives using Lean Manufacturing strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in production technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in a Manufacturing/Process Engineering role.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modeling.
- Adept at working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience on CAD/CAM systems (Solidworks/Alphacam/Catia).
