Position: Application and Product Security Engineer (Penetration Testing)

The Application and Product Security Engineer plays a crucial role in executing security penetration assessments, monitoring, and auditing in a fast-paced global environment. This position focuses on identifying vulnerabilities in product design and execution, pinpointing security weaknesses, and generating comprehensive reports. The engineer will engage with a diverse range of products, from embedded systems to cloud-based services.

  • Perform security evaluations of embedded systems, mobile applications, and web platforms
  • Investigate and uncover new vulnerabilities
  • Examine security protocols, authentication methods, and cryptographic practices
  • Work collaboratively with testing leaders to strategize testing initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Preferred certifications: OSCP or CEH
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of information security
  • At least 2 years of experience in penetration testing
  • Familiarity with hacking tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in developing embedded systems and web applications
  • Understanding of network protocols and packet-level analysis
  • Knowledge of malware exploitation and operating system configurations
  • Proficiency with Gitlab for issue tracking
