About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Catering Staff Member at Newbury Racecourse. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving food and beverage requests efficiently and accurately
  • Taking food orders and communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy dining and working environment before, after and during service
  • Developing an understanding of the product range available (drinks items, dietary needs, menu knowledge)
  • Managing and taking card payments
Requirements
  • Confidence and compassion when interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent teamworking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Driven and dependable approach to work
  • Attention to detail
  • Upbeat, welcoming and cheerful personality
  • Ability to remain calm during high-volume periods
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • CV required for application
  • Living in the local area with accessibility to Newbury Racecourse via public transport or driving
