Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Animator to join our team. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of animators, creating high-quality animation assets, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of animators to achieve high-quality results
    • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting their full potential
  • Animation Asset Creation
    • Create high-quality animation assets for the game, including character animations, cutscenes, and other visual effects
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure animation assets meet the game's artistic vision
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with other departments, including art, design, and production, to ensure seamless integration of animation assets
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure clear understanding of animation goals and objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in animation, with a focus on AAA game development
  • Excellent portfolio demonstrating high-quality animation skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of animation software, including Maya, MotionBuilder, and other industry-standard tools
  • Experience leading and mentoring animation teams, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Desirable

  • Previous experience working on AAA game projects, with a focus on animation and visual effects
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and other game development tools
  • Passion for video game animation and a strong understanding of current trends and industry standards
