About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountancy and Audits Content Specialist to join our team at Mercia Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for audit manuals and supporting the wider technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality written audit and compliance content that is technically correct, up-to-date, and practical for our clients.
  • Work closely with our Product team to contribute to technical, client, and competitor intelligence used to inform product decisions.
  • Liaise with the Product Director and Managers to ensure that client needs are met and product solutions can be iterated to our Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Represent your technical field in client meetings with account managers as required.
  • Supply clear and compelling technical materials for marketing and website purposes as needed.
  • Work closely with our Client Success and Operations team to maximize utilization rates and company profitability.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical knowledge in the field of audit and accounts, with the ability to grasp changes and translate knowledge into written practical guidance.
  • Ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of changing regulations.
  • Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.
  • Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in producing technical guides or manuals within the accountancy profession.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with above-average competency in the English language.
  • A high degree of organizational and project management skills.
