Position Overview

The City of London is seeking a dedicated Bereavement Services Officer to join our team.

Salary: £33,050 to £36,850 per annum, inclusive of Outer London Weighting.

Employment Type: Full-time & Permanent

This role is based at the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium's main office, requiring on-site presence for 35 hours each week, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

To excel in this position, candidates must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and the public. Proven administrative abilities, neat handwriting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential. A collaborative spirit and proficient knowledge of IT systems are also required.

Applicants must possess a full UK driving license, as there may be a need to transport members of the public within the cemetery grounds using a mini-bus.
