Job Title: Estimator - Energy & Natural Resources

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in producing accurate and comprehensive estimates for high-profile EHV, HV, and LV electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed resourced-based estimates to evaluate design changes and maintain the baseline cost.
  • Challenge contractors' estimates and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the client's Estimating function to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide expert advice.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience.
  • Wide and varied experience of construction projects, particularly in the electrical engineering sector.
  • Relevant successful experience of provision of estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
  • Understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes.
  • Capacity to use RIB Construction Suite/iTWO to Intermediate User standard.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level.
