Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive estimates for energy transmission projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop estimates that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed, resourced-based estimates for energy transmission projects;
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop estimates that meet their requirements;
  • Manage the estimating process at project level, ensuring timely and efficient delivery;
  • Support the development and promotion of estimating best practices within Turner & Townsend;
  • Assist in achieving departmental objectives and contribute to the growth and success of the company;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in estimating techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • Qualified to a high standard in estimating or quantity surveying with proven relevant experience;
  • Wide and varied experience of construction projects, particularly in the energy transmission sector;
  • Relevant successful experience of providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment;
  • Understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes;
  • Capacity to use RIB Construction Suite/iTWO to an intermediate user standard;
  • Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level;
  • Preferred degree in quantity surveying or an associated construction field;
  • Desirable membership of RICS/CIOB/A. Cost E.
