About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Immunology Laboratory team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to the development of our laboratory.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform a range of laboratory tests and procedures to diagnose and monitor immunological conditions.
- Develop and implement new laboratory protocols and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.

Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Post-registration experience in a UKAS accredited immunology laboratory.
- IBMS specialist diploma in clinical immunology or equivalent qualification.
