About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Suite team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the clinical governance process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver all aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and maintenance of high standards of quality patient care.
  • Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students.
Requirements
  • First-level registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, IT, and word processing.
  • Evidence of good understanding of Cardiac anatomy and procedures undertaken in cath labs.
  • Ability to supervise and support junior staff.
  • Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability.
  • Previous recent Cath lab experience.
