About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Merchandise Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our General Merchandise department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a medium to large instore team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure effective resource allocation and ROI.
  • Identify and develop talent within the team, providing coaching and mentoring to support career growth and development.
