We are seeking a skilled Development Underwriter to join our Commercial Team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for profitably underwriting Commercial risks from a wide suite of products on a case-by-case basis, within appetite and underwriting criteria.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage your own diary to utilize your time in the best way possible across your broker panel.
- Uncover new business opportunities and work with your brokers partners in a solutions-focused manner to deliver exceptional propositions.
- Develop and maintain strong trading relationships with our broking partners and leverage that relationship to deliver growth in line with the company plan.
- Deliver exceptional service to both brokers and internal stakeholders to set us apart from our competitors.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the team to share your knowledge and experience.
- Strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth.
- Underwriting knowledge, specifically with previous experience in Commercial Combined.
- Motivated, driven, and adaptable, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Solutions-focused approach to trading.
- 36.25 working hours per week, along with a range of flexible working options.
- Annual pay review and performance-related bonus.
