Fire and Security Lead Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Security Lead Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality fire and security solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team to ensure the delivery of high-quality fire and security solutions.
  • Plan and monitor maintenance tasks to ensure effective and profitable use of engineering resources.
  • Respond to customer needs, complaints, and concerns with a sense of urgency.
  • Complete toolbox talks with direct reports and provide clear records of completion to the compliance team.
  • Be available for site surveys and installation handovers as directed by the Regional Service Manager.
  • Organize and maintain an effective call-out rota for the area.
  • Responsible for minor works delivery within the area through dedicated minor works resources.
  • Assist the Regional Service Manager in the management of the engineering team.
  • Deputize for the Regional Service Manager as and when required during periods of sickness and holidays.
  • Support engineers in stock control and further action management.
  • Attend and assist with troublesome sites and complaints.
  • Technically support the DRS and Sales Team with quotations.
  • Initial planning of PPM on large/complex sites – meeting with customers in support of key sites in the region.
  • Assist in the delivery of small bespoke projects and ensure on-time delivery.

What We Look For:

  • At least 5 years' experience as an accomplished multi-disciplined Fire and Security Engineer.
  • Supervisory experience in a previous engineering role.
  • Technical background in the electrical/electronic industry would be beneficial.
  • Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential.
  • A full UK driving license – mandatory.
