The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our commercial strategy globally. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth across both UK and international markets, leveraging our recent investment in the production facility and new JV distribution partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category and group-wide sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Lead a team of experienced account managers to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Drive commercial partnerships and agreements to improve margin and profitability.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in driving sales volumes, improving margin and profitability, and developing commercial partnerships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of the paper bag manufacturing sector.
