Job Description

As a Contract Manager at ZipRecruiter, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to execution. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial and legal principles, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Negotiation and Management
    Develop and present commercial project proposals, draft and advise on contract terms, and negotiate with clients and third parties to secure favorable terms.
  2. Commercial and Financial Analysis
    Monitor project financial performance, prepare reports for the board of directors, and identify opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  3. Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
    Manage subcontractors, analyze project contract information, and minimize risk by ensuring terms align with company head of terms.
  4. Financial and Commercial Reporting
    Prepare necessary commercial reports, including project financial position, cost value reconciliations, and short-term cash flow analysis.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a commercial or contract management role within the construction and engineering sector.
  • Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of the competitive market and risk management.
  • Ability to travel, with a hybrid working policy in place.
