Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Transport Team Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc., you will:

  • Provide leadership and effective management of your team to achieve all objectives and targets.
  • Ensure effective communication with and between departments and business streams to meet objectives within prescribed timescales.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activity across shifts and business streams to meet customer service requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and planning to ensure targets are achieved within financial costings.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety, Fire, and Security requirements to provide a safe working environment.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A track record at a supervisory or management level within a complex, fast-paced transport operation.
  • Excellent knowledge of driving compliance and associated regulations, with a Manager's CPC being ideal.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills with previous managerial experience.
  • A strong personality with the ability to effectively manage drivers, push for operational excellence, and challenge the status quo.
