Job Title: Director Banking Sales

About the Role:

Temenos, a leading provider of banking software, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Banking Sales to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales analytics and modeling, reporting, sales productivity, forecasting, and funnel analysis. You will work closely with our TLC Management, Finance Controller, and sales managers to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Sales and Sales Operations resources to close new deals and renewal opportunities across all of the TLC Temenos Learning Community offerings.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product strategies and financial initiatives to align our TLC Sales Team through data-driven metrics.
  • Assist TLC Sales Management with analytical requirements; design and deliver reporting and produce analysis to meet those requirements.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast consolidation and analysis.
  • Streamline sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Generate weekly metric reports & provide analysis for Regional Director and Finance Director.
  • Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan.
  • Create, evaluate and optimize data sets and sales tools.
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce data – ensure all information is updated and available to all users.
  • Drive standards of performance and measurement that is consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization.
  • Support Sales team to track, analyze and execute on the Renewals process.
  • Create dashboards and suggest new ways of working to support the sales process.

Requirements:

  • 8 – 10 years' experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Finance, ideally within a Software sales environment.
  • Experience of selling Learning Management Systems or training offerings.
  • Ability to lead Sales and Sales Operations team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including advanced Excel skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of English.
  • Background in/or general understanding of software license contracts is beneficial.
  • Experience using CRM applications; Salesforce or Oracle.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
