Position Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our team. This role involves performing scheduled maintenance and addressing urgent issues related to building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Executing planned preventative maintenance and responding to urgent repair requests.
  • Conducting minor installation tasks and managing site emergencies effectively.
  • Ensuring that all electrical and mechanical systems are maintained to meet and exceed service expectations.
  • Performing reactive repairs and coordinating with subcontractors as necessary.
  • Completing all planned maintenance tasks as per the guidelines provided.
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Health and Safety Compliance:
It is essential to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all company and client policies.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A recognized electrical qualification.
  • City & Guilds 17th Edition in Electrical Installations.
  • City & Guilds Test and Inspection certification.

Skills and Experience:
Applicants should have:

  • A solid understanding of various building electrical systems and maintenance protocols.
  • Current knowledge of relevant standards related to electrical systems.
  • Experience in managing electrical systems and associated documentation.
  • The ability to work independently and reliably.

Work Schedule:
Candidates must be willing to participate in a call-out rota and be available for shift work, including weekends and out-of-hours duties as required.
