Job Title: Exposure and Underwriting Analyst

MS Amlin Marine NV is a leading provider of tailored marine insurance solutions, offering a broad range of products and services to clients across the globe. We are seeking an experienced Exposure and Underwriting Analyst to join our team in London, Rotterdam, Antwerp, or Paris.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate capture of underwriting exposure data and aggregate information within catastrophe modelling systems.
  • Act as a key point of contact for all queries on related classes, providing day-to-day support to underwriters and underwriting assistants.
  • Provide feedback to underwriters to enable improvements in exposure data capture and workflow, and assist with process development.
  • Support the Underwriting Management team with processes such as business planning, projection and reserving, class performance reviews, and other ad-hoc reporting and control processes.
  • Review, monitor, and improve reporting capabilities.
Requirements:

What We Are Looking For:
  • A motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong drive to deliver results.
  • Knowledge of marine insurance business is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Sequel Impact and/or SQL Server Management Studio is desirable but not required.
