Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software and System Analysis: Engage in the analysis and modeling of software-based and FPGA systems utilizing a range of methodologies. This includes examining design documentation and source code, applying contemporary analysis techniques to real-world software systems.
  • Safety and Security Evaluation: Contribute to the assurance of client projects through hazard analysis, independent advisory services, and comprehensive reviews of safety and security cases.
  • Research and Development: Investigate innovative methods for constructing credible safety and assurance cases, employing techniques from graphical languages to logical frameworks. Stay at the forefront of software analysis research and implement findings in practical applications.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong foundation in computer science or software engineering, with a passion for technology and a deep understanding of its functionalities.
  • Extensive knowledge of current principles and practices related to the evaluation of digital systems, particularly in static and dynamic analysis of embedded systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of synthesizing diverse viewpoints and providing well-founded advice based on policy and precedent.
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to guide project meetings and deliver presentations effectively.
  • A relevant degree in a pertinent field (computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.), with many team members holding advanced degrees.

Travel Requirements:

This role may involve travel within the UK and occasionally to other regions.
