About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team at YourPrime. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software solutions before they are delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of testing and documentation.
  • Complex Systems Understanding: Analyze and understand complex systems and how they provide business benefits.
  • Design Document Adherence: Follow and interpret detailed design documents to guide testing processes.
  • Scenario Planning: Think beyond primary path solutions to define exception scenarios and edge cases.
  • Test Script Execution: Execute detailed test scripts and scenarios to validate software functionality.
  • Quality Control: Perform rigorous testing and quality control of software before delivery to ensure it meets client expectations.
  • User Documentation: Produce comprehensive user documentation, including manuals, to facilitate user understanding.
  • Warehouse Management Systems Experience: Utilize your experience with warehouse management systems to inform testing strategies.
  • Independent Work: Work independently and manage tasks effectively under pressure while adhering to deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate user queries, recreate issues, and provide solutions through thorough testing.
  • Test Result Recording: Record test results in a concise and accurate manner for reporting purposes.
  • Integration Testing: Plan and execute systems integration testing, including testing of APIs using tools such as Swagger.
  • Issue Documentation: Document any issues found during testing in a focused and clear manner.
  • Collaboration with BA Team: Work closely with the Business Analyst team to understand system modules/features and develop required test scenarios based on gathered information.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in software testing, preferably within warehouse management systems.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex documentation.
  • Self-Driven: Self-driven, motivated, and productive with a tenacious approach to task completion.
  • Proficient in Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office and graphic design tools.
  • Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn and attend professional qualification courses.
  • Familiarity with Agile: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
