As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that your designated area operates seamlessly to meet customer expectations.

  • Foster a Culture of Safety: Establish and promote a workplace environment that prioritizes safety and employee wellbeing.
  • Enhance Quality and Productivity: Assess and implement necessary modifications to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Project Oversight: Manage initiatives aimed at refining processes, boosting productivity, and elevating service quality within your area.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate shift performance against established business goals and implement strategies to enhance operational excellence.
  • Collaborative Standardization: Work in partnership with senior management to unify shift practices across the board.
A Day in the Life

Your role will involve working on a shift basis at one of our facilities, ensuring maximum productivity throughout.

Your primary focus will be to cultivate a safety-first culture while maintaining quality and performance standards during shifts.

Daily tasks will vary, encompassing routine team management, operational duties, process enhancements, and large-scale contingency planning. You will also serve as a mentor and role model for new supervisors.

The Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) team specializes in handling substantial items such as furniture and large home appliances. We oversee the entire service process, from supply chain management to delivery and returns, with an emphasis on exceptional customer care.

Our service is distinguished by the additional level of support we provide, including unpacking, assembling, and installing large items, as well as removing old items when necessary.

With a commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation, we are transforming the way customers purchase and receive large goods.

QualificationsBasic Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in managing teams effectively.
  • Proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Experience in utilizing data or qualitative insights to inform business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in both verbal and written English, as well as the local language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Experience in a logistics-related environment.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional context.
