We are currently seeking a Visual Communication Specialist to enhance our Proposal and Creative Solutions team.

Role Overview:
As a Visual Communication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing design support for proposals, marketing initiatives, and internal communications across Thales in the UK. This position demands the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality, cost-effective design solutions across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Deliver creative design solutions for a wide array of marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Develop design concepts for corporate publications, promotional materials, and marketing brochures that effectively showcase Thales products and services.
  • Create engaging environmental graphics, web content, multimedia projects, and persuasive visuals to support bid submissions.
  • Provide creative input from the initial design phase through to final production, collaborating with team members and liaising with clients to ensure the design meets expectations.
  • Utilize advanced graphic design techniques to meet the evolving needs of our clients, leveraging design software and the expertise of your colleagues.
  • Manage individual work packages across various departments, including Engineering, Communications, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Support company-wide initiatives such as bids, conferences, exhibitions, and branding efforts, which may involve occasional travel.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience in transforming concepts into final design outputs.
  • Ability to adhere to strict brand guidelines while executing internal and external campaigns.
  • A creative mindset with a solid understanding of contemporary design principles.
