Senior Planner Job Description

United Living is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services company in the UK, dedicated to delivering resilient infrastructure, affordable homes, and improved living spaces.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Yorkshire region team, working on high-rise/multistorey developments. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated target and contract programmes, ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a full range of integrated target and contract programmes using Asta Power Project, Excel, Sketchup, and other software.
  • Maintain relationships with our supply chain, ensuring appropriate periods for all activities.
  • Understand drivers affecting durations and challenge where appropriate.
  • Visit sites weekly, collecting progress information, and produce reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with site teams, demystifying Gantt charts, and developing short-term punch lists.
  • Plan and manage projects through Building Safety Gateways.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with 5 years or more in a planning role.
  • Experience of working on high-rise residential buildings.
  • Expertise in Asta Power Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Sketchup, and other software.
  • Familiarity with producing 4D programmes linked to BIM models.
  • CSCS card.
