About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Planner to join our Area 9 team in Bescot, WS1 4NL. As an Assistant Planner, you will assist the Area Planner in developing, monitoring, and reporting on multi-discipline area programmes in line with client service level agreements and internal commercial requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing localised programmes of routine and reactive works
  • Support planning and delivery of services in line with tender strategies
  • Monitor and maintain programmes to ensure they remain achievable and identify areas for corrective action
  • Communicate programme changes and risks to the Area Planner and ensure programmes contain accurate information
  • Assist in emergency response, coordinate remedial repairs, and review programmes against forecast spend profiles
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of planning, including highways legislation, and excellent communication skills. You will be able to manage stakeholders at all levels and possess the passion and drive to excel in this role.
