We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a leading construction field sales recruitment consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of tile distributors and independent bathroom retailers, with a focus on growing sales and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of circa 30 tile distributors and 30 independent bathroom retailers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow sales and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide sales support and training as needed
- Assist with merchandising, training, and developing bathroom retailers
- Travel to Spain and Italy up to 4 times a year to meet with customers and suppliers
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the tile industry
- Strong sales and account management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
- Professional and organized with strong territory management capabilities
