The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Procurement Operations Team as a Customer Support and Procurement Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the delivery of best value procurement outcomes for the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries to the NOE CPC Customer Support Desk, providing advice, guidance, and an excellent customer experience.
  • Provide procurement support to the NOE CPC Category Teams, including administration of tender activities, running further competitions for customers under supervision, and supporting the launch of new frameworks.
  • Support the administration of supplier records, arrange supplier and stakeholder meetings, and take minutes and actions as required.
  • Manage your own workload in a proactive and professional manner, delivering consistently to agreed deadlines and standards.
  • Be proficient in the use of Excel to support Category Teams in data analysis.
  • Build excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Person Specification

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in a related field, plus demonstrable experience in customer service.
  • Evidence of administrative skills and experience.
  • Evidence of strong customer service skills and experience, and use of related software and systems.
  • Able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and management of own workload and time management.
