Job Title: Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team at Placing Leaders. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and certification of our products.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be responsible for managing our product portfolio, including positioning and prioritizing product development opportunities to maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, pricing, and product launch.
  • Collaborate with Central Product Development Teams to ensure UK testing and certification requirements are conducted and maintained.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on market trends and benchmarking of product range and hierarchy.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our business and its features across primary market segments.
  • Work alongside the Marketing department to define target audiences and customer segments, and develop product marketing literature.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the window, door, and façade product environment or aligned sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience of market insight, competitor analysis, and product life cycle mapping.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presenting to various audience types.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills:
  • A relevant professional engineering, architectural, or technical qualification.
  • Relevant industry experience at a senior level, including specification, design, fabrication, and installation of aluminium or steel window, door, and façade products.
  • SAP experience.
