Job Summary

We are seeking a Multi Trade Operative to join our team in Exeter. As a mobile operative and engineer, you will respond to and complete repairs as directed. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and other similar activities within domestic and other properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and void works in domestic and other properties.
  • Utilize all aspects of your specialist trade and secondary/multi trades to diagnose faults and implement remedies on the first visit to the property.
  • Ensure maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently, and to a professionally high standard.
  • Work flexibly, alone or within a team, and complete works within required timescales and deadlines.
  • Contribute to ongoing development and skills through supporting trainees, apprentices, and other professional development.
  • Provide an out-of-hours service provision on a rota or other basis.
  • Utilize mobile technology (PDA) to manage time, provide excellent customer-focused services, and develop relationships with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience working in a trades role within social housing (desirable)
