Breast Care Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with breast problems, including those undergoing treatment for primary breast cancer.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for breast care to develop their skills and expertise in a specialist field. You will be responsible for providing a highly developed standard of specialist breast care knowledge, advice, clinical expertise, and education to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide co-ordinated, holistic care for patients with breast disease from diagnosis, throughout treatment, and specified follow-up pathway.
- Participate in aspects of clinical governance and implement quality initiatives as part of the audit process to both set and evaluate standards of care and service delivery within the nursing team and when appropriate, the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development of the breast care service within the Trust, demonstrating and raising awareness of the contribution of expert nursing to patient care.
