As a **Financial Administration Specialist**, you will be instrumental in managing various financial operations, including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Expense claims. Your role will ensure that all transactions are processed with precision and efficiency.

Collaboration is key in this position; you will work closely with your colleagues to deliver a **customer-centric** and high-quality service. It is crucial that all financial activities are executed in accordance with the established financial controls of the university.

Effective communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals. Additionally, your ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail will be vital to your success in this role.

The NDCN encourages professional growth through the University’s Work Learn Develop program, offering various training and development opportunities for staff.

This position presents an excellent chance for the right candidate to pursue a finance qualification while contributing to the NDCN.

Applicants should possess a minimum of A level education alongside GCSEs in English and Maths (at least grades C / 4) or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Relevant experience in financial administration is also required.

While not mandatory, candidates who have undertaken or are willing to pursue an AAT qualification, possess knowledge of the university's Oracle financial system, or have experience in an academic or research setting will be at an advantage.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with the possibility of part-time hours at a minimum of 0.8 FTE.
