Senior Nursery Practitioner (Under 2's)

Are you a dedicated and passionate childcare professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with an outstanding nursery committed to providing exceptional care and education for children. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join their team in Thurrock, specifically to lead the Under Two's Room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Under Two's Room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster the development of the children in your care.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback and updates on their child's progress.
  • Support and mentor junior staff, sharing your expertise and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and nursery policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children under two years old in a nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to providing the best possible care for children.
