Certification Manager Job Description

Our client Scottish Power Renewables is seeking a Certification Manager for an ongoing contract position based in either London or Glasgow.

The Certification Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project is designed, executed, and commissioned in accordance with applicable certification schemes. This includes overseeing the project certification process, managing certification documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement certification strategies to ensure project compliance with certification schemes
  • Manage certification documentation, including certification plans, reports, and records
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure certification requirements are met
  • Conduct certification audits and assessments to ensure compliance with certification schemes
  • Identify and mitigate certification risks and issues

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in certification management, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of certification schemes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
