Program Officer Job Description

Val Wade Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Officer to join our team. As a Program Officer, you will provide administrative support to senior managers in the planning and delivery of programs with an international reach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trainees, students, academics, and senior stakeholders, providing administrative support and responding to general inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including National Offices and external companies/organizations.
  • Liaise with Registry to maintain records for the program, ensuring files are up-to-date and GDPR compliant.
  • Coordinate administrative processes for Partnership Schools/Colleges and trainee allocation, ensuring smooth program delivery.
  • Update and maintain relevant pages of the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), including program information, resources, student access, and submission processes.
  • Coordinate the receipt of Tutor and Mentor Reports, working with the Module Coordinator, Program Manager, and Registry as appropriate.
  • Liaise with Registry to confirm student invoice payments and coordinate the receipt of tutor invoices for the Finance Department.
  • Contribute to Awards Day, Open Days, and other program or Faculty of Education specific events.
  • Support Program Committees as required.
Requirements:
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in administrative procedures within a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency in formatting documents, working with spreadsheets, and uploading documents to Moodle.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, meeting agreed targets.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Confidence in dealing with inquiries from the general public, colleagues, and students.
