Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective delivery of procurement services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement contract management processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide procurement expertise and guidance to other business functions to ensure effective procurement practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of procurement professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
