Logistics Coordinator Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at React Recruitment Ltd. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of our client's operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate and manage the booking and co-ordination of UK and Overseas logistics in and outbound
* Package goods for safe onward shipment in cartons or on Pallets
* Prepare domestic & export documentation
* Contact customers to confirm and update logistics arrangements
* Load shipments
* Receive deliveries (inbound)
* Unload deliveries
* Control goods to ensure all deliveries are accurate and compliant
* Contact suppliers for problem solving
* Operate a counterbalance Forklift (licenced would be preferable)

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of 1 year's work experience in operations, understanding Export documentation
* Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise between multiple tasks
* Strong communication skills
* Strong IT skills
* Holding counterbalance and reach truck licence - preferable
* Ability to work as part of a team and be willing to get involved in all areas of the business when needed
* Physically fit enough to work in a role where the vast majority of the day is standing and requires some lifting

**What We Offer:**

**Salary:**

£25,000 - £29,750 pa DOE

**Working Hours:**

Monday to Friday (8:30 – 17:00)
