Position Overview
The Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry is on the lookout for a friendly and energetic individual to fill the role of Breakfast Service Associate. This part-time position primarily involves working during the weekend mornings, making it a perfect fit for students or those with weekday obligations.
COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYMENT TERMS
Hourly earnings can reach up to £13.54, with weekly payments resulting in a minimum gross annual salary of £8,488, inclusive of expected tronc payments.
This role offers a permanent contract with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, with shifts mainly scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, serving beverages and light snacks before taking their breakfast orders.
- Perform the duties of a section waiter/waitress, ensuring excellent table service, taking orders, and delivering food to guests efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by providing personalized recommendations for dishes and beverages, creating a memorable dining experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Bar and Kitchen teams to maintain effective communication.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the breakfast menu to assist guests with recommendations and to address any allergen inquiries.
