About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SOC Analyst to join our growing Security Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing both Node4 and our clients against attacks, compromises, and breaches.

As a Senior SOC Analyst, you will work closely with our Security Team to mature and maintain our internal security posture. You will also collaborate with our account-managers and pre-sales team to deliver managed security services to customers and provide a consistently high-quality standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex SIEM rules in Microsoft Sentinel based on real-world attacks and threat intelligence
  • Write new playbooks for incident investigation and response
  • Design and implement new automation to meet business/client requirements using logic-apps and automation
  • Triage incoming alerts and alarms from different security platforms and handle escalation of critical/complex incidents from junior staff
  • Provide guidance and assistance to other analysts as they investigate incidents and create/tune rules
  • Compile and present monthly reports for customers with data from multiple security platforms and provide appropriate guidance around improving their security posture
  • Lead on training new analysts and developing training materials/resources as required
