Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
At SEGULA Technologies, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our forward-thinking Rail Solutions team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building, analyzing, enhancing, and supporting best-in-class, business-focused data reporting and analytics in the rail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing analytic reports
- Develop data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations
- Implement security in reports and dashboards
- Integrate dashboards into applications using Embedded Analytics
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and Reporting
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance
- Build and modify tables, views, and optimize SQL queries, indexes as needed
- Responsible for implementing security on developed dashboards and reports in accordance with security and access requirements
- Innovate and develop ways to capture data more efficiently
Requirements:
- Experience in Business Analytics tools
- Experience in Reporting and Analytics
- Experience in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferably SQL Server
- Experience in large documentation systems or technical analysis
- Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- IT, Computing, or Engineering Degree
- Good communication skills to translate business requirements
