Kemp Recruitment is working with a successful plant maintenance company seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing team.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a best-in-industry service for customers and clients. You will oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the service operation, managing absence, rotas, and holidays for the Depot Service staff. Your role will also involve understanding and managing customer expectations while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for checking and processing information from engineers to process repairs to payment via warranty systems and external invoicing.

Responsibilities
  • Guarantee a best-in-class service for customers and clients
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department
  • Oversee staff scheduling, including absence management, rotas, and holiday requests
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded
  • Process repair information from engineers and manage payments through warranty systems and external invoicing
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the plant or construction industry
  • Previous experience as a Depot Manager or similar role is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Full, valid driving license
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
