About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Technical Recruiter Apprentice at Scrumconnect Consulting. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the recruitment field while developing a deep understanding of the IT industry.

This apprenticeship is designed to give you the skills and experience to grow into a fully-fledged IT recruiter. You will work closely with our experienced recruitment team to identify, attract, and place top talent in technical roles across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates for IT and technical roles using various recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Support the recruitment team in writing job descriptions, posting job adverts, and managing applications.
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews and assessments to identify top talent.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide candidate recommendations.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews and follow-up processes with candidates and clients.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database with candidate information and status updates.
  • Learn to build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the IT sector.

  • Possess a passion for IT and technology with a strong desire to build a career in recruitment.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Show a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Have basic knowledge of IT roles and terminologies.
