Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Blueprint Recruitment Ltd. This role is pivotal in overseeing electrical project initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with a blend of on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Construction and Engineering Managers in the strategic planning and daily management of electrical projects.
  2. Oversee project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. Foster a collaborative environment that meets the needs of clients and stakeholders while motivating team members.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including records of communications, approvals, and project deliverables.
  6. Manage teams of electrical and instrumentation operatives, ensuring effective resource allocation and task execution.
  7. Support the management of commercial risks and client relationships, facilitating effective decision-making processes.
  8. Implement project management methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in managing large-scale projects within regulated industries, particularly in electrical engineering.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC in Electrical Engineering and APM certification.
  • Experience with safety management systems, including SMSTS or IOSH certifications.
  • Strong leadership skills, particularly in unionized environments, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex operational challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
